Starting a business means you are all in, body/mind/soul/bank account/friends and families bank accounts/mattresses/socks. This gets tricky when you want to grow but capital isn't there and the banks only want to see profit. It doesn't matter to a large lender that you've staked everything on your dream and can see its potential. There are the "B" lenders but that doesn't make good economic sense for any small business trying to realize a profit. I liken this process to that of the hamster-wheel of funding...once you're on it, it's hard to get off.
I believe in my business, the products and myself to achieve success and have the determination to ride the waves. If you are looking for a small business to invest with, have a background in business management and finance or passion for small businesses, consider having a coffee (extra strong, in person or virtually) with me SOON. We'll chat about how we can grow together for a mutually beneficial relation$hip!
Well, I thought I could so I did.
What didn't come to mind was just how many hats were needed to realize the rapid growth of my business goals and the many more exciting ideas that came to fruition meant something else was going to get left behind. Realizing I cannot continue "doing it all" tells me a partnership might be a great thing to consider. A partnership means many different things so let's chat. It's just a conversation. I'm particular and so should you be, however, aligning our strengths for a mutually beneficial relationship sounds pretty darn good to me.
